Early-phase office AV and network infrastructure installation supporting cable pulls, Wi-Fi access points, speakers, and large-format display integration at Xero.
This was an early-phase office build-out completed alongside Jeff, before additional personnel joined the project later. The scope was relatively standard, but it required clean execution across cable routing, device installation, and final AV integration throughout the workspace.
Jeff and I pulled cable across the office to support the Wi-Fi access point rollout, working through the full workspace and landing the required drops in position. The wire pull itself was somewhat challenging in places, but the project otherwise moved smoothly and stayed organized from rough-in through device installation.
In addition to the network-related work, I handled speaker installation for the main all-hands area and supported the installation of a large-format display that required coordinated multi-person handling due to its size and weight. I also completed device integration at the credenza, installing and wiring the supporting equipment so the system was fully connected and ready for use.
The overall result was a clean, standard office technology deployment covering network infrastructure, AV support, and meeting-space functionality without major issues beyond the more difficult pull conditions.
